Amazing animals are all around us! This unit begins with a week-long study of penguins. While
we study penguins as a class, students will learn how to locate information, select the most important facts, restate what
they learned, and produce a project that truly teaches about their penguin. Then, each student will select their own
Amazing Animal to research. This project will result in October's published project, an expository book.
